CHALLENGE
A well-known cardiology medicial client desired to redesign its existing ECG workstation cart in order to deliver an even better experience for the end user. The updated medical cart would reflect customer requirements and provide a scaleable platform for other products in the line - all while meeting extremely tight production deadlines.

SOLUTION
Incorporating voice of the customer (VOC) feedback, MPE acted fast to develop a new workstation design that placed the ECG system, ancillary components and supplies within easier reach of the user.

RESULTS
MPE worked quickly and effectively with the client to develop the ultimate in user friendly ECG carts. Following approval of the design, MPE developed three functional prototypes within six weeks to display at a critical trade show. Four months later, MPE shipped 1,000 production units – fully assembled and ready to operate – to meet the client’s aggressive timeline.
