CHALLENGE
Medtronic wanted to redesign its successful Treon surgical navigation system to satisfy customer demand for technological enhancements to an already well-liked product. MPE was challenged to create a dynamic cart that would use less footprint, simplify setup, storage and transport, and protect the proprietary technology.

SOLUTION
MPE’s engineering team was employed early in the design process with Medtronic product managers to leverage expertise at the outset. This approach maximized design and production efficiencies throughout product development.

RESULTS
MPE worked closely with Medtronic to create The StealthStation S7 System – designed to provide a product offering a compelling look with easy access and interaction for users working under pressure. The cart design could also be tailored to meet changing hospital needs. The S7 is taking the market by storm.
